Drawing is integral to my practise . I like to use small Moleskine concertina sketchbooks and charcoal in a tiny tin which fits in my pocket. Taking the time to make a drawing keeps the memories of how I felt at the time and brings it straight back to me.
During lockdown I went out every day and created a series of 5 little sketchbooks- drawing every day in the woods at the back of our house.
Since then I have continued to draw and it forms the basis of all my work.
